There's a New Member of Casa McRandle!
Hi! I'm alive! We had Logan Tyler on Monday, August 1 at about 9 p.m. Not a long labor, we started at about 6:45 p.m. , but really awful. He was 7 pds and 9 ounces and has a full head of dark brown hair, just like Jamie. Blue eyes of course! He's a good baby, but doesn't eat enough. We're doing everything possible to help him out so he doesn't end up back at the hospital.
We'll get a picture out and up on the website as soon as possible.
Anyway, just wanted to put up a quick mesage because everyone has been so nice to send e-mails and keep checking! Talk to everyone as soon as I can!

It's a Boy!!
Hi everybody! We went for some testing yesterday and found out, it's a boy!!! Logan is a big, healthy, couldn't be more perfect baby boy! He saluted his daddy, so there is no doubt! We're still working on a middle name, but he is perfect.

Fans and friends of Shannon,
Following is a message that Shannon asked me to post for her to
update everyone on what's going on. I'm sure that cards and letters
would be much appreciated.

First of all, let me say how sorry I am that I've not been able to
update the site or stay in touch with all of you lately. There have
been several distressing things going on lately. Before I get to that,
though, I'd like to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving and send my
warmest wishes.
My grandmother's health has been steadily growing worse the last few
months. Last weekend she went into the hospital again and we rushed
down to Virginia Beach to be with her as she died. My grand mom was
more my mom than a granny. She took care of me most of my life.
Afterwards, there were funeral and viewing plans to be made. The baby
and I were so worn out after the long drive back and we both developed
bronchitis.
On top of everything, my back has been getting steadily worse. I will
have back surgery on November 25. I'll be in Virginia for two weeks...
hospital and then a few extra days near the hospital so I can get
there quickly if something goes wrong. I'll have to have at least
one disc fused so far,but it may be two more... the tests were a little
unclear. The doc has to wait and see when he gets in there. I may
end up in a brace for some time and will also have up to six months
of bedtime recovery.
It's been really hard and has gotten to where I cannot pick up my
son or walk up and down the stairs. Some days I can't walk at all.
Jaime is going to try and send some pics of the kids in the upcoming
weeks and will be checking the site for me.

Who is Mara Jade?
Last week on the Wizards of the Coast web site, they answered that
question once and for all.
Every fan that knows anything about the expanded universe of Star
Wars knows who the Emperor’s Hand is. You weren’t looking
for the back-story of Mara Jade. You wanted to find out who will be
the face of the best character to never appear in the movies.
They didn't dissappoint the fans. Hers or theirs.
Shannon McRandle (that's me) will once again be the living incarnation
of Mara.
Where are they in the process? One of Wizard's photographers, Ric
Fogel and I have completed the photoshoot. Their master of post-production,
Mark Goetz, has worked his magic to polish the shot and the background
setting.
Currently, the image is in the hands of our friends at Lucasfilm undergoing
great scrutiny to make sure that no detail has been missed. Soon the
image will be finalized and I'll have more to show you...

Riley Christopher McRandle...
...was born on June 5, 2003 at 3:23 am at the National Naval Medical
Center in Bethesda, MD.
He was 19 and three quarter inches long and 7 pounds, 12 ounces. Eight
hours plus of labor, but only three pushes and he was here

IT'S A BOY!!
On January 17th, Jamie, Willow and I found out that the newest member
of our family is a boy.
He is due around June 1st, 2003 and will be named Riley McRandle (we're
still working on the middle name).
