Hi everybody! It's been awhile! Thanks for checking in on me. Things are hectic as usual in the McRandle household! Work for Jamie is very busy, the kids, of course, are in three different directions, and me, I'm just try to keep it all moving forward!
The news I'm writing to tell everyone about is YES, I AM GOING TO C4!!! The contracts were just sent out this past week and I signed and returned mine right away. Thanks to everyone who has written to ask about it over the last few months and to everyone who let the powers that be know they wanted me there! I'm very excited! I pulled up StarWars.com yesterday to see what they had up about the con. Not much yet, but more to come very soon it looks like! It will be really great to see all of you there that I have missed at the smaller events in the last couple of years, and to see all of my old friends like Michonne, Amy, Nalini, hopefully Mike Quinn.... It looks like they've just signed Carrie and we can only hope that Mark is to follow!! And in LA this time, what a big change! I have to say I will really miss Indianapolis! But I do love LA... to visit! Also in SW news, I recently did a podcast for rebelscum and have been told it will play this week. I had a great time and talk with the guys! Thanks! I am so appreciative of this job, all the people I've met, friends I've made, places I've been. I just hope that you all are always proud of the job I do for you.
And for the most frequently asked question, the TV series...I have not been asked to participate and honestly do not know if Mara will be included in any way at all. Me or anyone else as Mara. I am very excited to hear about it all in LA in May. If I hear anything else in any way at all, you will be the next to know... but I also expect that to go two ways! Let me know if you all find out anything. You are my best source of information many times.
I have talked to the promoter about Celebration Europe. He is aware that I would love to be there, but his list has to be approved by LFL before he can send out invites. Hopefully it will trickle down to me and I can see so many people I have never had the opportunitly to see on my few trips to Europe. If it's anything like Celebration Mexico, it will really be amazing! I'll keep you posted.
As for me at home right now, I've been working little bits here and there, make up, modeling, nothing too big or time consuming. My wonderful webmaster, Alan, has been spending time putting together a make-up website for me, which should be up and running very soon. Keep an eye out. Things have slowed down this month because of a little surgery I have had to have, but I'm on the way to being better now and hope to be up and around very soon. I've a lot of work to do before coming to LA!
We got a new doberman puppy a few weeks ago! That's been the challenge lately. Lilly is nine weeks now and full of spite and pee! She's going to be as beautiful and big, as her big brother Diego. Anyone who has housebreaking ideas for the hard ones, let me know. She's our third dobe and she's proving to be quite the challenge. The kids are great and Alan should have new pics to put up soon. They are all happy and growing! Willow is still dancing her little heart out and she and Riley have both been picked up by a really nice agency to model. Logan is 18 months now and such a little man. Nothing like the other two. He's my constant companion and really runs the house sometimes. I think the only difficult thing for us is Jamie's job. Other than that, I really have to say marriage and children are the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me... and a close second of course would be Star Wars.
