JUNE
2004
Hi everyone! Well, if you are reading this, it means you are checking
out the new site! Hope everyone likes it! Alan did a great job!!!!!
We welcome any feedback you all might have.
I would like to say that I attended an event in D.C. this past Sunday.
I was really happy with the reception i received. Wow! CapiCon and
it's promoter, Jeff, really rock! And a special thank you to the many
members of the D.C. area Star Wars Collector's Club. If anyone got
a great picture, please send it to Alan
so he can post it. You all were wonderful. I'm sorry i'll miss the
summer social, but i'm looking forward to seeing you again this Fall.
A lot of you have written in and asked me about meeting Mr. Mark Hammil
in New Jersey. It was great! He is a smart, funny, talented person.
I think he had good fun meeting me as well. It was a real honor. If
you ever get the chance to hear him talk, go, go, go! He has wonderful
stories, is very fan friendly, and will answer everything you ask!
Thanks to the gals and guys that set that whole thing up for me!!!!!!!!
Meriwyn, you are the best!
Okay, onto what's coming up. My next event is in Phili... just another
little one day thingy. But I've never done a show there and don't
know when I'll get back, so please come by and say hi! After that,
I am going to MEXICO!!! Whewhoo!! Michonne, Amy and I have been invited
to the Mexican version of Celebration. We are all so looking forward
to the event. I hear Mexico City is stunning. I'm really looking forward
to this!!!! And just two days later, you'll find me in San Diego for
the ComiCon. It's been a few years since I attended this event, and
I'm truly looking forward to seeing some old friends and familiar
faces. My good friends Amy and Michonne will be there, as well as
Mike Quinn, Billy Dee, and I hear possibly even Carrie Fisher. What
fun! And there is no place better in the world than the Gas Lamp for
shopping and having fun afterwards. So, say hi one place or another.
It's going to be such a great month, July!
Let's see, around here things are good. Willow just graduated from
kindergarten today. We're going to spend a couple weeks in Virginia
Beach before we head back to Maryland for her summer series of theater,
dance, gymnastics and cheerleading. It's hard to keep up with her
anymore. She also had a great sixth birthday (thanks to everyone who
sent messages and cards), and lost her first two teeth. And Riley,
well, he had his first birthday. What a hoot. He got two teeth! He's
running around the house now and loves playing with my big dumb dobe,
Diego, and doing anything at all that Willow does. He dances, gives
kisses, and won't ever get out of the bathtub without a fight. I'll
post new pictures as soon as I can.
Remember we still have so many of our guys over there fighting
everyday against terror. Many of the families of the men
that have been killed, need help. You can send donations and kind
words to the address found on the front page of NavySeals.com.
We can't forget what they've given. God bless.
i guess that is all for now. I will write back first chance I get.
Keep an eye open for the new guestbook... which i have dearly missed,
and for new pictures. And don't forget to pick up a packet of "Rogues
and Scoundrels"... I have my best card yet in that WotC pack.
For now, take care, enjoy your summer, and keep writing me!!!!!
Kisses,
Shannon

Other
than Mara Jade, Han Solo is her favorite Star Wars character.
