Hi everybody!
Sorry it's been so long since I last wrote! We've been buried in snow
out here in Maryland! I want to say thankyou to all of the fans who
still write to wish me well with my back and to check in on Riley.
He'll be 8 months on February 5th. He waves hi now and is trying to
walk. My back is a little better everyday, and I hope to be at a few
of the shows this summer. And without a walker!!!! No granny shannon!!!
I also want to thank all the friends who were there for me with the
passing of my Grandmother over the holidays. It was a fall full of
hardship! But now that spring is around the corner, things seem brighter
than they have in a long time!!! Two of my best friends just got married,
Mrs. VA 2000, Ellen Chase is now LCDR and Mrs. Phil Clay!!!! yey,
and Barbara Overton is now Mrs. Pete Lawson, AND she's in Japan with
him right now. If that's not enough, my beautiful F/18 flying friend
Lea Potts was just proposed to by the dashing navy seal Greg Sutton,
to be married in May!!!!! It seems like it's the year of love, not
the monkey! Oh, and for all of you guys out there, don't forget Valentine's
day! It's right around the corner.
As always, please send any requests for autographs for friends we
have fighting the war on terror. I'll be happy to send them photos
free of charge to wherever they are stationed. Anything to help get
them thru another day! Don't forget to keep them in our thoughts and
prayers.
I hope to have some now pictures of the kids soon, and maybe one or
two of myself before long...just kind of taking my time getting back
to work! Keep in touch and stay well and happy! May the force be with
you!!!
